"Can't believe I've lived this close and never been before, well it's my goto chip chop from now on. The Gaffers are great people, nice and friendly and the fish, chips and sausage are super tasty, great size portion and fantastic price too. Great stuff!!!"

"So I tried this for the first time over the wknd as temporarily staying in the area and love fish and chips. The fish & chips taste different to many places you find, I think they are using a different fat to cook it with. It makes it a lot tastier than other places - a real traditional flavor if you like. The mushy peas were the best I have ever tried. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Prices much cheaper than other places by a couple ££ If I had to make a small criticism, I would say the portion sizes were not that big, but maybe that's because it was so tasty and I wanted more! Would definitely recommend and is the best in the area for sure."

"Best fish and chips in Leeds by a long way. Good portions, reasonably priced and great service. Aside from the fish and chips, make sure to try the potato scallops, they’re best I’ve had. Highly recommended."

"Hands down the best chippy we have ever been to in our life. Food was incredible and the service was second to none. Visited yesterday and it was freezing, lady behind counter told us to wait in our car and she will bring it out to us once cooked lovely little touch. Incredibly friendly and very welcoming, definitely worth the drive a must visit and will definitely be back."

"1st time using the fish shop after living just up the road for over 6 years. Fish buttie was perfect, lovely white fish and the husband had a huge battered sausage and chips, very filling. Will now be our go to fish shop from now on. If your in the area, its definately worth a visit, I'm sure you'll be greeted, as we were, with a warm friendly greeting and great service."
